How To Make More Money From Haters on Social Media.

On the internet and in my case YouTube, you are guaranteed two experiences on your social media platform, haters and supporters. Within the collection of the two, you will be mostly see more supporters rather than haters because we simply have to believe that there is more good in people than their spiteful negativity.
Albeit, the internet is a place to blow off steam, take the filter off our self-restricting egos and say what we really want to say (at that moment). So the occasional "you suck", "you ~enter racist comment~", and other negative comments may be what they need to say to give the middle finger back to the world for whatever their reason.
Does this negativity directed towards us, our content, our idea affect us, it does, some more than others. However, I personally think is, it should. We, humans, are emotional creatures. We yearn for feedback and acceptance from others, and that is from a psychological standpoint, important if we want to live with good mental health because love and companionship is a something we will have to achieve on this world built on community.
Learning to take criticism and negativity is a key factor if you want to live your life on your terms aka "be yourself", rather than conform. I personally feel that when I am placed in different groups I adjust to the situation. My personality, morals, interests, and ideals stay the same, but my energy matches the crowd that I find myself in. This is something I personally don't like about myself because I feel it's the environment influencing me rather than vice versa, but I have learned that it is also the reason I consider myself having such "thick skin" on the internet. The real trait when looking at those situations is I have the ability to adapt well.
So how does adaptability translate to dealing with criticism and negative feedback from others? Well, I personally have an "I don't give a shi-, what your dumb-a** says" attitude for negative comments because I know deep down the things I say and do, is real and absolute in my mind. What I mean is, I'm comfortable being me, and have already convinced myself that I'm right and they are wrong. You can try to reason with them, argue back, but ultimately, it is most likely a waste of time since their intentions for those comments were either made to make themselves feel better, illicit anger or test your self-confidence and their actual words don't mean much.
So instead of crying over what some random person says to you in passing, use it to your advantage. Here on Wealth Creation and Life Mastery, we have to look at how this can benefit us, how to see it as an opportunity. Hate causes controversy and controversy causes an explosion of traffic (we love traffic). It similar to the stock market, when the stock is bull trending (going up in price), it is usually a slow process that can take months or years to really make any impact, but when the stock is bear trending (going down), everybody loses their shi* and people start scrabbling, it can be a matter of a few seconds or minutes for all that positive progress to disappear. It seems negative emotions are stronger than positive ones so if you are on YouTube (as I find myself in), why don't you rouse up your haters a bit. Remember YouTube rewards you for engagements. This means if there is a lot of interactions positive or negative, you benefit from this because Youtube views it as your content is trending, in turn bumping your video up in the charts.
See the negativity in a positive light and a great opportunity. It is actually a huge advantage if you see it in this altered perspective.
Check out my youtube channel and browse through the positive and negative comments notice there are plenty of likes for the negative ones, some of which I personally added likes too.
